About Joseph Bones

Joseph Bones makes music that is deep, occasionally steeped in melancholy, but always, utterly, hopeful . He grew up with the sounds of 1960’s rock & roll, 2010’s pop, and the indie folk of the mid to late ‘00’s. These pallets of color spilled out into the music Bones makes in his DIY studio just outside of his hometown in Atlanta, Georgia. He picked up the guitar at 16, wrote his first song at 20, and released his first single at 25. At 26, he left his job, packed up his family, and set out to make music that would bring hope and comfort to the world around him.
